Lou Jacque Collaboration

This was an interesting take on the collaborative tattooing process that's been a trend in the industry in recent years. My co-worker Lou conceptualized and drew the piece based on the client's requests, with no input from me (it's based on Japanese demon folklore). He then outlined it himself and completed some black shading. I took over for the second sitting and established much of the color range and form with a basic "block-in". Lou took the next two sessions to build off my color foundation with more colors and coverage. I completed the process with a final sitting of texture and details over the entire piece.
